~Trend Report~Sprucing the sweat pant!

Who likes to feel comfy?

Especially while in the personal space of our homes.

Lets admit, we aren't dolled up when doing business from home, making a quick run to the market or doing laundry!

Comfort is our first go to and sweat pants are always a top grab for me.

Check out the new aged sweat pants and the cool ways to implement them in your everyday wardrobe!

Carribean Model: Melodie Monrose

Carribean bomb shell Melodie Monrose has stolen the show this year .

The 18 year old Martinuque native has heads turning and leaving the question of ," Who is the new tall black girl?"

She has walked the runways for Jason Wu, Phillip Lim, Prada, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, YSL, Valentino, and DKNY, just to name a few. She is no underdog and is commanding the attention from top designers and her fellow piers.

This break out studious model was only discovered by accident and was signed right on the spot with Wilhelmina Model Agency.

Melodie is only a year in the modeling business, but seems to have a promising future.

I will definitely be keeping my eye out for her!

Style Quirkiness: Alexa Chung

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I discovered an amazing Bristish model/ style icon Alexa Chung.

She submerges her heart in vintage and I have fallen head over hill for her in the past 4 months.

Alexa mixes her high fashion with signature vintage finds to create a subtle classic wardrobe.

She is now in the middle of creating a show to sought out for the best thrift finds across America.

Im' stoked about the show just as much as I am stoked about her.

Her looks continuously inspire me.

I've never really been a fan of shearling aviator jackets.

I find them to be big, bulky, and heavy.

Recently I tried one on at one of the many vintage stores I frequent.

It seemed to be "just right" and my heart began to take a liking.
There could definitely be one in my future.

I DARE to be BRIGHT! I DARE to mix and match every color in the spectrum!

So when a friend told me they thought of me after they saw the Jil Sander's collection,  I didn't skip

a beat to see what they were talking about.

Jil still manages to capture a women's silhouette,
while strutting in her big, slouchy, rounded collection!

I first took notice of her beauty about 4 months ago.

I gasped as her "gap" defined what beauty can be and is.
